Seventh meeting of the European Union – Brazil Civil Society Round Table

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the Brazilian Council for Economic and Social Development (CDES) will be holding their seventh meeting of the European Union – Brazil Civil Society Round Table in Brussels, Belgium, on 22-23 January 2013.

 

Working sessions will be held on the following subjects:

  • Social, economic and political situations in the European Union and Brazil
  • Mobility of people and goods

A preliminary debate will be held on the subject of mobility of knowledge.  

On the basis of these debates and of the reports that both sides have drafted, the CDES and the EESC will draft a joint Final Declaration to the attention of the next EU – Brazil Summit.
