2015 is a decisive year for the climate negotiations. In December, the 2015 Paris climate conference (COP 21) must produce an international agreement to keep global warming below 2°C. A series of decisions must be reached in December 2015 on the basis of the work done in Lima by the COP20.
Face au virage ambulatoire, au vieillissement de la population, à l’augmentation des maladies chroniques, le développement et l’innovation en matière de dispositifs médicaux offre de réelles perspectives d’amélioration de la santé et d’essor d’une filière industrielle de pointe. Toutefois, le « service attendu », la progression de la dépense, la pertinence de la prescription et de l’usage posent question. Pour le CESE, les dispositifs médicaux doivent être mieux intégrés dans les stratégies et projets de loi relatifs à la santé. Il faut donc renforcer leur traçabilité, adapter les mécanismes de tarification, renforcer l’efficience de la prise en charge des patients en limitant leur reste à charge et construire une filière industrielle de dispositifs à réelle valeur ajoutée sanitaire.
Les filières professionnelles véritablement mixtes sont encore rares et le déséquilibre entre les femmes et les hommes dans les métiers concerne principalement les qualifications d’ouvrier et d’employé. Or, la mixité apparaît comme une dimension essentielle à la réalisation de l’égalité professionnelle entre les sexes. Alors que le Gouvernement a placé cette question au rang de ses priorités, le Premier ministre a demandé au Conseil économique, social et environnemental de dégager, à l’intention des pouvoirs publics et des partenaires sociaux, des orientations pour agir.
On 28 May the Spanish ESC in plenary session adopted its Report on the socioeconomic and employment situation in 2013 with 46 votes in favour and just one abstention, thereby accomplishing its annual mandate of submitting to the government in May an assessment of the state of the country drawn up jointly by the social partners and civil society organisations forming the ESC pursuant to its founding law. This year’s is the 21st Report produced by the government’s chief advisory body on socioeconomic and employment matters.
The round table organized by the Economic and Social Council of Bulgaria (ESC) in partnership with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on “Employment in Rural Areas - Challenges and Possible Solutions” brought together more than fifty representatives of the state and local authority, social partners and NGOs, members of the ESC and the EESC, experts and the media.
